Embracing the Spirit of Unity: EWA Attending the Hari Raya Open House at Asia e University

Eid al-Fitr, a joyous celebration cherished by Muslims worldwide, marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan – a time of fasting and reflection. On May 11, 2023, Thursday, Asia e University warmly welcomed guest to a lively Hari Raya Open House held at their campus in Subang Jaya SS15. This remarkable event presented a golden opportunity for individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together and bask in the radiance ambiance of Eid festivities. The Hari Raya Open House was a true spectacle, showcasing the tapestry of cultural diversity and nurturing a profound sense of unity and togetherness. The event unfolded as a vibrant mosaic of traditions, customs, and cuisines, reflecting the multicultural society in Malaysia. Visitors were greeted with cheerful smiles, warm hospitality, and a sensory feast like no other.

Stepping on the campus, attendees were embraced by traditional greetings of “Selamat Hari Raya” and greeted by a kaleidoscope of vibrant decorations adorning the surroundings. The air danced with joyous melodies of traditional music, creating a lively and festive ambiance. People from all walks of life, irrespective of their religion or cultural backgrounds, harmoniously converged in a spirit of variety of delectable culinary delights that tempted every palate. Throughout the event, guests were immersed in captivating cultural showcases and engaging activities, inviting them to embark on a journey of discovery. Traditional dances, including the enchanting Zapin, gracefully unveiled the elegance and beauty of Malay heritage. Attendees were actively encouraged to participate, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures.
