European Wellness Academy's Summer Seminar 2023
As a closing itinerary to the European Wellness Academy’s Summer Seminar 2023, we had the honor of hosting Datuk Christina Liew, Sabah’s Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Environment, who delivered a special speech during the dinner.
The event took place on August 6, 2023, the event reached its conclusion with a special sponsored workshop. This workshop featured presentations from our speakers, demonstrations showcasing the latest advancements in modern bio-regenerative medicine, and opportunities for attendees to visit our world-class facilities in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The day concluded with a grand poolside dinner attended by the founders and top leaders of European Wellness, marking the successful conclusion of the EWA Summer Seminar.
The European Wellness Academy (EWA), in collaboration with certification partners, the International Association for Cell Therapy (IACT) and the International Association of Stem Cell Transplantation (IASCT) from the USA, orchestrated a remarkable event known as the European Wellness’ Summer Seminar in 2023. This seminar attracted a diverse audience of medical professionals, including doctors, physicians, clinicians, practitioners, and leaders in the healthcare industry from across the globe. It served as a valuable platform for the dissemination of knowledge and insights in the fields of anti-aging, biological regenerative medicine, stem cells, youth revitalization, and cellular therapy.
“I am pleased to know that such an event was being held here in the state to bring together more than 100 doctors and healthcare professionals from 15 nationalities (including the US, Japan, India, Poland, Greece, Russia, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia as well as from the Middle East and Africa). I look forward to working closely with the academy and other local medical wellness communities in Sabah to make the state a destination of choice for healthcare and medical tourism,” she said after congratulating Prof. Dr. Mike Chan and his team for the Summer Seminar’s success.
Day 2, the European Wellness speakers once again broke new ground by discussing some of the latest advancements in modern regenerative medicine! They spoke on various topics such as bio-regenerative medicine in male & female sexual dysfunction, neuroscience, targeted organ-specific stem cells, peptides and exosomes, health span management, stem cells in cardiology, bio-regenerative medical approach to the musculoskeletal system, brain development, the role of extracellular matrix in cutaneous ageing, and on Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Parkinson’s disease.

Esteemed figures from the European Wellness Group, such as Prof. Dato’ Seri Dr. Mike Chan, Prof. Dato’ Seri Michelle Wong, Prof. Dr. D. Klokol (Head of EW Medical Advisory Board), and the EW Medical Advisors Prof. Dr. Y. Nalapko, Prof. Dr. O. Nishkumai, Dr. M. Iemelianova, Dr. V. Chernykh, Dr. Glen Alvin, and Dr. S. Yefimov, were among the distinguished speakers. Their insights were eagerly received by the diverse audience, which included doctors, physicians, clinicians, practitioners, and industry advocates.
The celebration of the seminar was concluded with the presence and endorsement of Datuk Christina Liew, the Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Environment for Sabah. In her speech, she expressed her enthusiasm for collaborating with EWA and the local medical wellness communities in Sabah to transform the state into a preferred destination for healthcare and medical tourism.
